The Greek community has become one of the largest and most active groups on campus with numerous opportunities to hold influential leadership positions.Collectively, thousands of community service hours and thousands of dollars are contributed annually to local and national philanthropy projects.

Fraternity & Sorority Life at Tarleton State University is made up of 15 fraternities and sororities that each report to one of three governing councils.
The National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) is the national coordinating body of 26 all-women sororities. There are 4 NPC sororities at Tarleton State University that participate in formal women's recruitment, have financial commitments and academic requirements. InterGreek Council (IGC) is the governing body of all special interests fraternities and sororities at Tarleton State University. Member organizations include service, religious and multicultural fraternities and sororities.
