Summer Financial Aid

Summer 2014 Financial Aid

If you are planning to attend summer school and are interested in obtaining financial aid for summer 2014, find your current status below for instructions on how to proceed.

I received financial aid while attending Tarleton State University during the 2013-14 school year:

Complete the Summer Office Application Form and submit it to the Student Financial Aid Office.

Be aware that summer is part of the 2013-14 academic year. This means that if you received the maximum annual Direct Loan and Pell Grant amounts for fall and/or spring semesters, you may not have remaining eligibility for summer.

Visit with a financial aid counselor if you have questions.

I received financial aid while attending another school during the 2013-14 school year and are transferring to Tarleton State University this summer:

Add our school code: 003631 to your 2013-2014 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Notify your current school you are no longer attending.

Complete the Summer Office Application Form and submit it to the Student Financial Aid Office.

I did not complete a 2013-14 FAFSA at any point during this school year:

Complete a 2013-2014  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov and list our school code, 003631. This will enable our office to retrieve your FAFSA results and determine your eligibility.

Visit with a financial aid counselor if you have questions.

Reminder: The summer semester is made up of multiple start and end dates. To receive a summer Direct Student Loan, you will need to be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
