Graduation Updates- Fall 2014 Commencement
Flash Photography will be taking graduation pictures at the commencement ceremony. Flash Photography will contact each graduation candidate by using the provided personal email address and regular mailing address with information on proofs and how to order their graduation pictures. They will use the contact information you provided on the back of your name card (which you will fill out prior to the ceremony on graduation day). Graduation candidates may contact Flash Photography at 817-924-2626.
Diplomas for December graduates will be given out at commencement as student walk across the stage except in the following instances: Missing grades, failing or incomplete grades, missing paperwork (i.e. substitutions), transcripts not yet received for coursework completed at other universities, and holds.
After completing all degree requirements students who do not receive their diploma at commencement or who do not participate in commencement will receive an email to their go.tarleton account alerting them when the diploma will be available for pick up.
If not picked up, all remaining diplomas will be mailed to the address provided on the graduation application. If you have questions about this process please contact the Registrar's Office at 254-968-9417 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
Undergraduate students should notify the Registrar's Office immediately if the mailing address provided on the graduation application for your diploma to be mailed needs to be updated. Graduate students please visit the College of Graduate Studies website.
Tarleton transcripts with the degree posted will be available January 5, 2015. Students may order transcripts now and check the box"Hold for Degree Posting" and circle "Fall" on the transcript order form. This will ensure the fastest delivery of your transcript. Students may visit the Registrar's Office website to view the options available for ordering a transcript.
Students who are completing course work at another university must have an official transcript sent to Tarleton immediately after grades are posted. If the official transcript is not received by January 9, 2014, students run the risk of having their name removed from the graduation list. Students who are removed from the graduation list will need to reapply for graduation for the following term.
