Digital Diversity

Digital Diversity phrase with common social media site logos

Participate in our digital diversity campaigns. A digital diversity campaign involves various social media sites as we explore a value of multiculturalism. We use digital diversity campaigns for various topics, prompts, issues, or activities. For example, during Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week, we may tweet locations where food donations may be made. We might share (through Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, or our blog) various points of information about organizations that assist those who face food and shelter needs, or we might try to create a challenge for other organizations to join along with us to raise awareness. During various semesters, we may alter our approaches, but the common component of the Digital Diversity site is the use of digital/social media to foster an inclusive campus.

Multicultural Ambassadors Reflect!

Our Multicultural Ambassadors help with our digital initiatives. Read blogs about students' reactions to events, thoughts about cultural excursions, and their goals in our mentoring programs. Look for upcoming Tweet Ups hosted by our Multicultural Ambassadors and see how you can share diversity in the digital world!
