Welcome to the Planetarium!

About Us

Located under the copper dome, in the south-east corner of Tarleton's Lamar Johanson Science Building, our 40' planetarium is host to approximately 15,000 visitors each year. The vast majority of our guests are students from Pre-K to 6th grade, and come to us from over 200 miles away in some cases. Our programs combine full-dome video, 5.1 surround sound, and stellar images from our Digistar 5 projection system to bring the wonders of space to our visitors.

Welcome Tarleton Freshman

The College of Science and Technology would like to welcome you to campus with a FREE Planetarium Show and also a free stamp on your Planetarium Loyalty card!
