Graduate Degree Programs

At the graduate level, the Department of Management offers a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management and Leadership and in Human Resource Management. They also offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA).


Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The 36-hour MBA program is designed to develop the student’s leadership, decision making, and critical thinking abilities. Students are given opportunities to make decisions based on critical evaluation of real-life situations. Master of Science - Human Resource Management (MS HRM)

The 30-hour program provides the student opportunities to develop critical skills in areas such as research and job analysis, recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations and organizational effectiveness. Students gain knowledge and skills that are applicable in business and not-for-profit entities including state and local governments and military organizations. Best Buy Human Resources Management

Master of Science - Management and Leadership (MS M&L)

The 30-hour program focuses on one of the most challenging responsibilities for management today – leading change. Students gain knowledge and skills that are applicable in business, the military, government organizations, and private non-for-profit organizations.


If your GPA on your last 60 hours of course work is a 3.0 or higher, you do not have to take an entrance exam.  If your GPA is from 2.5 to 3.0 you will have to take the GRE or GMAT and submit qualifying scores before you are accepted into a COBA graduate program.
