Commuter & Transfer Students
Commuter and transfer students with less than 30 hours are also expected to attend Texan Transition Week. You will be provided with the knowledge and resources necessary to succeed here at Tarleton.
Commuter Students
You may not live on campus, but this week will prove invaluable in helping you get acclimated to college culture. You will network with your fellow classmates, faculty and staff, make lifelong friendships, discover the tools for academic achievement, get plugged in to Tarleton organizations and experience what it means to Bleed Purple.
Commuter Check-in
- Sunday, August 19
- 4 p.m.
- Recreation Sports Center (Building 981 on the Tarleton Map)
Transfer Students
Even if you're not technically part of the Class of 2016, we feel you will still benefit from attending Texan Transition Week. Tarleton is likely uniquely different from your last school and this week's events will get you acquainted with TSU! If you're a transfer student who will be living on campus, you will participate in Move-In. If you are a commuter, we'll see you at check-in (information above).
