Texan Transition Week will help you with a successful transition into the academic and campus life community. This week you will take the first steps towards becoming a college student and joining a great legacy at Tarleton State University!
Texan Transition Week begins with Move-In for Honors and Living-Learning Communities on Saturday, August 16, 2014 and Incoming New Students on Sunday, August 17, 2014 and continues through the first day of class. This week is mandatory for all new incoming freshmen and transfer students with less than 30 credit hours.

First Year Seminar
Your academic journey at Tarleton State begins this week with your First Year Seminar course.
Get ready to learn what it will take to succeed in the classroom.
You will experience two of the most important Tarleton traditions during Transition Week.
Health & Wellness
Your health is crucial to your success. Find out how the Recreation Sports Center, Health Center, Counseling Center and Dining Services can help.
It takes more than good grades to be truly successful in college. All the tools you need are within reach.
Service & Giving
Tarleton began with one man's gift. Join in that legacy by finding out how you can give back to the university and community.
Tradition & Spirit
School pride is huge at TSU. Get pumped about "Bleeding Purple!"
This week isn't just for on-campus students. ALL new students should attend.
