The Center for Academic Readiness and Success presents the Early Alert Program which provides Tarleton State University faculty members the opportunity to identify students who are at-risk of falling short of success in their academic courses to The Center for Academic Readiness and Success staff. Those students will be then contacted by The Center for Academic Readiness and Success staff to help identify academic resources on campus that might provide benefit to the student’s specific need. Students identified during the four week period prior to mid-term will receive increasing levels of intervention with each faculty identification. Students may be referred to this program for a variety of reasons but generally referrals are due to poor class attendance, lack of participation, and/or low test scores.
