Always Short

Ryan Farrar

After swallowing almost all my head
I cut my throat for the stimulus
No matter how much I try
I can never find a life of substance

This all rests beyond me
In a home that is not here
Because I don't understand the reasons
Of why I do the things I do

The pain swims in my chest.
The cancer of my failures travels through my heart
And to my stomach where my love dies.
For that, I give my life to the God of the spirits.

Give me the ultimate tragedy...
The ultimate story
