View Account Activity/Pay Tuition and Fees-Texan Bill Pay

Account activity through Texan Bill Pay will include:

  • Important payment deadlines
  • Detailed account information for every term for which you were registered at Tarleton
  • Account balances and payments made for each term for which you were registered at Tarleton
  • eBill - tuition and fee schedule/bill statements
  • Online payment plan enrollment
  • Schedule future payments 

Student Access (via myGateway)

  1. Login to myGateway.
  2. Click on Student Tab. Go to Banner Self-Service and click on DuckTrax. Click on Texan Bill Pay to enter your Student Account

Student Access (Duck Trax)

  1. Login to Ducktrax using your nine digit NTNET ID and six-digit pin. 

Guest/Parent/Authorized User Access

  1. Click on Authorized User
  2. Log-in with your Authorized User e-mail address and password that was e-mailed to you upon enrollment by your student.
  3. You will now have access to your student's account.

Sign-up for Guest/Parent/Authorized User Access (Students)

Please Note: Students must enroll their guest/parent/authorized user for this service. Below are the instructions pertaining to that enrollment.

1. Select the Authorized User tab on the top tool bar in the Texan Bill Pay system.

2. Select Add an Authorized User

3. Complete the required information and continue.

4. Agreement to Add Authorized User.  To complete the process, please check the box and agree to the terms and continue.  You may also print the agreement at this time.

5. An email will be sent to the new user with instructions concerning log-in information and passwords.

Note: You may select more than 1 Authorized User to access your student account.  An Authorized User can be deleted by the student, by selecting "Delete" under action.

Electronic Refunds

How do I sign-up for an Electronic Refund?

Starting Summer 2014  Tarleton State University will be moving our Refund Management to Higher One.

Each Tarleton student will be receiving a GREEN envelope in the mail based on the mailing address in the student records, PLEASE verify this information via Druk Trax (Student Self-Service).  Card should start to arrive in mailboxes around May 1, 2014.

Once the student has received the Tarleton Choice Card, log onto TarletonChoiceCard.com to choose how you would like to receive your refund.  The student will need the 16 digit number on the card to log in to TarletonChoiceCard.com and student's UIN.

There are 3 choices for the student's to recieve a refund:

A.  One Account -- A Higher One account

B.  Direct Deposit to another Bank Account

C.  Paper Check

The Cashier's office will no longer distribute Refund Checks.

E-Bills

What is eBilling?
EBilling is a new service available to Tarleton State University students thru Texan Bill Pay that will allow you to access your billing statement online rather than waiting for a paper bill. Students will receive an email notification to their University email account notifying them that the eBill is available for viewing. Students may also grant authorized users such as parents/guardians to have access to the bill and also receive email notification as well.
I didn't know you stopped sending paper bills! Why didn't you let me know?
We have used numerous methods of notifying students of our change in policy effective Spring 2009 such as mailing a standard letter notifying students of our change, emailing students, and advertising on campus.
How do I (student) obtain access to my eBill?
Students may access their eBill by logging into myGateway and go to the Student Tab, locate Banner Self-Service. click on DuckTrax, then click on Texan Bill Pay to enter your Student Account. Once logged into Texan Bill Pay, click on eBill and you will be able to view your statement. 
Where will I see a copy of my e-bill?

1. Select E-Bills on the top tool bar in the Texan Bill Pay system.

2. Another option to see your E-Bill is to go to the Quick View section of the screen and select E-Bill.

3. You will now select latest statement and you will see a copy of your most recent statement.

Changes to your student account, including adding and dropping courses that occur after the statement is posted in the Texan Bill Pay system will be available for viewing under Current Activity.

I did not receive a bill in the mail. Where did you send my bill?
Effective of the Spring 2009 semester, Tarleton State University no longer mails paper invoices. Students will receive an email notification to your University email when a new eBill has been generated.    You may also set up an alternate email address in addition to your Tarleton email account in Texan Bill Pay.
Why is Tarleton State University going to eBilling as the official billing method?
To provide the very best customer service to our students and their parents or guardians. The vast majority of students and parents are comfortable with the web environment and this new method will provide many benefits that paper billing cannot.  With Texan Bill Pay, students and authorized users can view the most recent statements, in addition to all account activity posted to their accounts since the statements were prepared.  It provides them the ability to see and pay, up-to-date account balances calculated at the instant they view them.   We will be providing our students and parents a more efficient and accurate account of their student bill.
Can I get a paper bill instead of an eBill?
All students will receive an eBill.  Students and authorized users may view and print the eBill online thru the Texan Bill Pay from any computer with internet and printer access.   Or you may contact the business office at 254-968-9107.
Can I create access for another person?
A student has the right and the ability to set up access for whomever they want. They may do this by accessing their student account on Texan Bill Pay via Duck Trax where they can set up an authorized user.
I try to access my eBill thru Texan Bill Pay but nothing happens. Why?
Check to make sure you don't have a pop-up blocker activated on your computer (browser) that is keeping you from opening a new window where your eBill would display. Temporarily disable the pop-up blocker and you should be able to view your eBill without problem.
Can I pay my Tarleton State tuition and fees online?

YES! Login to myGateway, click on DuckTrax then on Texan Bill Pay

Payments accepted include VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Electronic Check and Debit Card.   To pay by
echeck you will need your US Bank checking account number and routing number. Both methods are simple and secure!

If I or my authorized payers do not feel comfortable paying my bill online, how can we pay my bill?

You may also pay in person at the cashier’s window located in the Administration Building.  The cashier’s office hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm and Business Office hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.

NOTE:  In an effort to reduce processing costs, Tarleton State University began processing paper checks electronically effective July 23, 2008.  If you deliver a check in-person or mail it to the University, your paper check will be converted to an electronic Automated Clearing House (ACH) transaction.  For your reconciliation purposes, these checks will now appear on your monthly bank statement as an Electronic Debit.  If you do not wish to have your account electronically debited, please mail your check to the following address:  Tarleton State University, Opt-Out Payment Processing, Box T-0125, Stephenville, TX  76402

How do I create a Payment Profile for my checking account?

1. Select "Make a Payment", Payment, or Pay. (All three will take you to the correct screens to make payments and create a payment profile)

2. The following screen will guide you through the payment process.

3. Select a payment method from the drop down box and select go.

4. If you select the Electronic Check, you will see the following screen.

5. Complete the information and select continue.

6. E-sign with the last 4 digits of your University issued ID and select I Agree.

7. Complete the required information, and select Continue.

9. You will then see a payment confirmation page to print for your records.

How do I create a Payment Profile for my credit or debit card?

1. Select "Make a Payment", "Payment", or "Pay" (This will depend on the screen you are on at the time.)

2. From the drop down box, select the credit/debit card.

3. Enter the credit or debit card number. Please Note: Debit cards issued by Bank of America, US Bank, and Wells Fargo cannot be processed as a debit card online.

4. Enter the information required to finish the payment process. If you choose to save this payment profile for future use, please make sure you put a check in the Options to Save box and name the profile. If this is not selected this payment profile will not be saved for future use.

5. Enter the payment amount and select the correct term.

7. You will now see a confirmation page. Please print this for your records.

E-Mail Notifications

What e-mail address will the notifications be sent?
E-mail notifications will be sent to your University issued e-mail address.
Can I have more than one e-mail address saved for notification?
Yes. You will need to enter into the Texan Bill Pay system, select My Profile and enter the alternate e-mail address. 
When will e-mails be sent?
E-mail notifications will be sent to your University issued e-mail address, as well as the alternate e-mail address you enter in the My Profile section of the Texan Bill Pay system. E-mail information will include changes made to the student account, e-bill postings to the account, payments made to the account, activity of an authorized user, and payment plan enrollment information. These e-mail notifications will be sent as the activity happens to the account. 

Online Payment Plans

How do I sign up for the Payment Plan?
  1. Login to myGateway, select Student Tab; go to Banner Self-Service, click on DuckTrax, then click on Texan Bill Pay.
  2. Select Payment Plans.
  3. Select Sign Up For a New Payment Plan. You will now see the details of the payment plan including the due dates and processing fee.
  4. From the drop down box - select the payment plan for the correct semester.
  5. Select Continue and the system will gather the information for your student account to enroll in the payment plan.
  6. You will now see the charges that will be applied to the payment plan.
  7. Select Display Payment Schedule - You will now see the 3 payments and the due dates of each payment.
  8. At this point you can select to schedule payments by selecting the Yes button. If you do not want to schedule payments then select No. If you select No, you will need to make sure you make the payment by the due date. These payments will not automatically be made for you.
  9. Select Continue and you will see the payment plan agreement.
  10. You will now E-Sign the agreement with the last 4 digits of your student ID and select "I Agree".
  11. You are now enrolled in the Online Payment Plan and will see the payment schedule.
