Juror Randy Bacon has always been attracted to the quality of light, the precise colors and the big skies of his native state. In communicating a sense of place, Bacon often draws upon the people and venues of his life to make paintings where past, present and future become blended, where memory and reality connect. Bacon lives and works at his home on the courthouse square in Albany, Texas.
The Dora Lee Langdon Cultural and Educational Center is nestled one block off Granbury’s historic square in the Brazos River Valley and serves as a focal point for the fine arts in the Lake Granbury area. The Langdon Center serves as the cultural and educational hub of the downtown area in cooperation with the City of Granbury and Tarleton State University.
