Tarleton State University

Dr. Kyle McGregor was named Tarleton State University’s Vice President for Institutional Advancement in 2014. Dr. McGregor provides leadership for all fundraising, advancement, external/community relations, marketing, communications and legislative affairs functions at the university. He also serves as the university liaison to the Tarleton Alumni Association and the Tarleton State University Foundation, Inc. Additionally, his team provides oversight for the Dora Lee Langdon Cultural Center in Granbury and the W.K. Gordon Museum for Industrial History of Texas in Thurber.

Before his appointment as Vice President, Dr. McGregor was named Chief of Staff to the Office of the President at Tarleton State University in 2011. He began his service to Tarleton in 2002 as a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Sciences. As a faculty member, Kyle gathered more than $1 million in external funding, led multiple research and outreach projects for state and national agencies and received eleven different commendations for excellence in teaching.

Since 2009, Kyle has served on the Board of Directors for the National Farm Life Insurance and American Farm Life Insurance Companies in Fort Worth, Texas. He is proud to be a part of such a notable company with a long and successful history in Fort Worth.
