Tarleton Gateway to Success
The Tarleton Gateway to Success (TGS) is an alternative admission program in which select freshmen, who have met conditional admission requirements, are allowed to earn full admission in the Fall by taking Summer courses.
Students are introduced to a network of meaningful resources that aim to help them along their academic experience, as well as planned activities, mentoring, and advising that assist them in their college journey. Classes are offered in-person only, at the campus the student is conditionally admitted to.

Enrollment and Participation
The Tarleton Gateway to Success Program has a capacity for each campus, limiting the number of available spots. Students who are offered TGS should secure their spot by signing and submitting the Invitation and Participation Agreement. Students can participate in TGS by invitation only, from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
There are two TGS programs, one on the Stephenville campus and one on the Fort Worth campus. Students are offered the program based on where they applied. If the student intends on being a Stephenville student, they will only be eligible to attend the TGS program on the Stephenville campus. If the student intends on being a Fort Worth student, they will only be eligible to attend the TGS program on the Fort Worth campus. Students will only be eligible to attend the TGS program at the campus they will be attending for their first academic year (Fall and Spring semesters).
