Mission

The mission of the Tarleton State University Agriculture Center is to provide an academically progressive and diverse instructional laboratory that represents the current agricultural industry and complements curriculum theory and principles that will enable students to acquire the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary to establish successful careers and become responsible citizens and leaders.

Goals

1. Environmental Stewardship: Operate all facilities in a manner that maintains or improves the quality of our environment while making sure all applicable rules are met.

2. Student Experiences: Provide a safe and educational work environment for student workers;

3. Facility and Resource Maintenance: Maintain and update facilities, equipment, and genetics to remain current with industry technology and accommodate teaching, research, and outreach activities.
