Luna's Tears

Anthony Mason

The moon looks down upon the bay

Without the words she longs to say;

In silence certain, does she pray

For mortals weeping in the dark,

Who cry alone with none to hark

To bleeding hope, whose souls do park

Upon despair, left with their fears:

The saddened moon, within their tears,

Alone upon the bay.
