Tracy White serves as an adjunct professor for the Tarleton
Athletic Bands, Music Education, and as Director of the
Tarleton Volleyball Band, the Texan Thunder.

A product of Texas public school bands, Mrs. White has
taught for 12 years as assistant band director and woodwind
instructor for West ISD, Gatesville ISD, and, most recently, as
Director of Bands for Meridian ISD. She has led many of her
middle school and high school bands to success with UIL
Sweepstakes in both marching and concert bands. Mrs.
White is a current member of the Texas Music Educators
Association.

Mrs. White holds a Bachelor of Music degree and Master of
Music Education degree from Tarleton State University.
During her time at Tarleton, she served as drum major of The
Sound and The Fury marching band and performed with the
band in London. She studied saxophone under Greg Ball.

She was active as an officer in both Tau Beta Sigma and Mu
Phi Epsilon and was selected to join Kappa Delta Pi by the
Tarleton School of Education.

Mrs. White currently lives in Stephenville, Texas with her
husband and two young sons.
