Dmitry Perevertailenko is an Associate Professor of Clarinet at the Tarleton State University Fine Arts Department. He has performed throughout the United States and Eastern Europe. His performance experience include ClarinetFest® 2014 at Baton Rouge as well as Copland Clarinet Concerto with the Kharkiv Municipal Orchestra (Ukraine) and the North Texas Symphony Orchestra. From 2004 to 2007, he was principal clarinetist with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra. Perevertailenko has won multiple competitions including the International Competition for the 50th Anniversary of Israel (1999) and the North Texas Concerto Competition (2006).

Prior to his position at TSU, Perevertailenko was an Adjunct Professor of Clarinet position at the Sam Houston State University. He also held a Development Associate position with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra (2008-2009).

Dmitry has obtained his B.M. from the Moscow State Conservatoire (Russia), M.M. from the Sam Houston State University, and D.M.A. in clarinet performance from the University of North Texas.
