Did you know that you can attend Tarleton State University at other locations other than our Stephenville campus? We have outreach locations in Fort Worth, Waco, Midlothian, College Station (RELLIS), and an online global campus! To attend these campus locations you must be a transfer student with at least 30 credit hours and be TSI complete. Our outreach campuses offer classes to accommodate your needs and schedule. With options at night and on the weekends, build the schedule at the campus that works best for you!
The Fort Worth Campus Administration Building is the first of many to be built right off of Chisholm Trail Parkway. The building is three-story, 76,000-square-foot and sits at the highest point of the 80 acres off of the parkway. The building offers innovative learning areas, common gathering spaces, offices, a large event area, and a gym.
As if the first building is not great enough, we have broken ground on our second Fort Worth Campus building. The Interprofessional Education Building will open Spring 2024 and will have more than 100,000 square feet of classroom and lab spaces!

What credits will transfer?
-If you are core complete at another Texas public college or university, you will be considered core complete at Tarleton
-Maximum of 90 credit hours can be applied to a 120-credit hour bachelor’s degree

What are the requirements to attend the Fort Worth campus?
Undergraduate admission to Tarleton Fort Worth, Midlothian, Waco, Texas A&M-RELLIS and Global Online requires a minimum of 30 transferable hours, a 2.0 GPA, and TSI complete status. These transfer locations only offer upper-division courses. If your degree requires additional lower-level courses, some may be available online, but you may also need to complete courses at another institution and transfer them to Tarleton. Financial Aid Consortiums with Tarleton’s community college partners are available to assist with the cost of dual enrollment.
Will I need a parking pass for the Fort Worth building? How much is parking?
Fort Worth students are required to have an active parking permit to park at the Fort Worth campus. The cost is $200 per long semester. This cost is automatically added to your tuition, but you must register for your permit online via your Parking Portal. No physical pass is required, as all permits are virtual.

Will Tarleton offer free or reduced Trinity Metro bus passes?
Tarleton also is working with Trinity Metro on a plan to provide service to the new campus.
May I purchase a toll tag through Tarleton?
Students taking classes at the new location will need to purchase a toll tag through the North Texas Tollway Authority if they plan to access the campus from the parkway. At this time, no reduced rates are provided for parkway users. However, students can access the new Fort Worth campus without taking the parkway or incurring a toll.

Will there be a campus store or place to buy supplies?
Look for the vending machine in the student break room on the second floor.
Where do I buy books at the new Fort Worth campus?
Order textbooks online from Tarleton’s Campus BookStore at the Stephenville campus and they can be picked at the Fort Worth Campus.
Do I have access to the Stephenville campus recreation center if I take classes in Fort Worth and Stephenville?
Students designated as “Stephenville” will only have access to the Stephenville Student Rec Center. Students designated as “Fort Worth” will only have access to Fort Worth Community Centers, including the Chisholm Trail Community Center, 4936 McPherson Blvd.
Will financial aid, business services, advising, and a registrar representative be available at Fort Worth?
Similar to the arrangement in the Hickman Building, student services in the form of a financial aid counselor, admission/registrar representative and career services staff member will be present on the third floor of the new building.
What will the tuition and fees be at the Fort Worth campus?
