Priority Registration
Honors students have the advantage of being among the first students to register for classes. Priority registration helps students plan their schedules, stay on track to graduate, and maximize their opportunities for academic success.
Specialized Advising
The Honors College Advisor provides tailored guidance and support geared toward helping students maximize their potential and achieve their academic and professional goals. We assist students in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals, and to help them navigate the complexities of higher education. We can provide guidance on course selection, research opportunities, internships, graduate programs, and other relevant topics.
Community (Honors Hall)
The Honors College has a tight-knit community of like-minded students who share a passion for learning and intellectual inquiry. This community can provide valuable networking opportunities and social support. Honors Hall is home to more than 400 undergraduate students in the Honors College and offers three housing options: apartments, two-bedroom suites and cost-efficient double-occupancy rooms. The Honors Hall also features community spaces, including a meeting room with auditorium seating, a spacious lobby, classrooms, study spaces, kitchens and a large courtyard. The offices of the Honors College are located on the first floor in Honors 1233, making it easy to seek out help from our staff. Two Honors classrooms are on the first floor (1245A & 1245B) as well, so in many cases students will have Honors classes in their residence hall.

Besides having an awesome dorm room in the middle of campus, I thoroughly enjoy the Honors classes and getting to know the honors professors. The rigor and challenge of honors classes have sharpened my critical thinking, writing, and speaking skills. The connections I’ve made with professors have opened up many opportunities I won’t find anywhere else.
