What is a Sport Club?

Tarleton State University identifies a Collegiate Sport Club as a group of activity fee-paying students, voluntarily organized for furthering their common interests in a physical activity through participation and competition.

Each club is formed, developed, governed, and administered by the student membership of that particular club in collaboration with the Collegiate Sport Clubs staff. If you are interested in starting a new Sport Club or for other information, contact the Sport Clubs Coordinator.

How do I join a Sport Club?

Membership and tryouts are open to all currently enrolled students of Tarleton State University. Each Sport Club athlete must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Potential members must read and sign a release indicating that they understand the risks and responsibilities assumed in participation.
