Teaching & Learning with Gen Z Course

The Center for Educational Excellence is excited to announce the launch of this asynchronous course that delves into Generation Z students’ characteristics, learning preferences, and digital fluency. Educators will explore innovative teaching strategies tailored to engage and inspire this generation. The Fall 2024 course will begin on October 7, 2024. 

Whether you’re an experienced educator or new to the profession, this course offers valuable insights and tools tailored to meet the needs of today’s digital-native students. Faculty of all ranks (including adjuncts) are invited to join us to transform your educational approach and create more dynamic, inclusive, and engaging learning environments.   • Identify the contextual factors that define Generation Z learners.
  • Analyze the implications of these characteristics on learning and engagement.
  • Integrate technology effectively into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
  • Develop teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs of Generation Z students.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters interaction and collaboration among Generation Z students.
  • Evaluate and adapt current teaching methods to meet the evolving expectations of Generation Z learners.
