The National FFA Officer Preparatory Academy is a three-day academy hosted by Dr. David Frazier, with the help of the Tarleton Department of Agricultural Education and Communication faculty, staff, and students. This opportunity helps prepare candidates for the interview process for the National Officer Selection Program which takes place in October. This year’s participants consisted of candidates from 28 states.
Students joined us on campus from September 22nd to September 24th for interviews, workshops and food. FFA Members joined from all across the United States and even Puerto Rico.
“I was blown away by their genuineness, ability to inspire, and just share drive to be the best they can be. I can’t say thank you enough to Tarleton State University for allowing me the host this event… I have no doubt that the national FFA organization will be in great hands next year. Thank you for letting me be a part of your journey. Thank you for coming to Tarleton. Thank you for choosing to serve,” Dr. Frazier said.
