Study Abroad – Zimbabwe

This study abroad course focuses on Intercultural Communication and Community-Based Natural Resource Conservation in Zimbabwe. It is developed in relation to a proposal submitted to the NSF Dynamics of Integrated Socio-Environmental Systems (DISES) program. This course is cross listed with Wildlife and Natural Resources, Sociology, History, and English. Travel will be May 15-30, 2023 within conservation areas in Zimbabwe. Study Abroad – Nepal

This study abroad course will visit different protected areas, religious and cultural sites, and the Himalayas that serve as a classroom to learn diverse wildlife and habitats, unique landscapes, and religion, culture, & socioeconomic issues in biodiversity conservation of the region. Study Abroad – Czech Republic

This study abroad course will tour agricultural facilities, farms and dairies and experienced the Czech culture first-hand as they visit large cities and small villages. Throughout the Czech Republic, students will see how the production of dairy cattle, sheep, beef, swine, grapes, wheat, canola, barley, hopes, lumber and horses is handled in the Czech Republic.
