Over the Pro Rodeo weekend, a group of 30 students from the Department of Animal Science and Tarleton State Block and Bridle received a special opportunity to give back to Erath County and the City of Stephenville by volunteering at the Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo, September 22-24, 2023. The students worked directly with President of the Pro Rodeo Committee, Casey Hammons. The group of students were responsible for various duties at the welcome tent, helped sponsors find their box seats, and even assisted in clean up after the rodeo in the grandstands. These students proudly upheld Tarleton’s core value for Academic Service as they were eager to assist any way they could. Way to go Texans!
