November 10th and 11th The Department of Animal Science hosted the Academic Quadrathalon involving the undergraduate students listed below. A total of four teams competed in four events: Practicum, Written Exam, Oral Presentation, and Quiz Bowl. In the Practicum, the team demonstrates its ability to perform physical skills in Animal Science in a station format. The written exam has a one-hour time limit, and the questions may involve any area related to animal production and products. In the Oral Presentation, the students are given a topic to discuss dealing with animal agriculture. In the Quiz Bowl, questions may be on any topic that relates to animal agriculture and are answerable by “buzzing” in.
