As a student worker, Laura helped spearhead the launch of our Tarleton Tartan Project, a student run business designed to help students apply the skills they develop in the classroom. Graduating in May 2021 with a BBA in Marketing, she now serves as the Marketing Coordinator for MesaTech Corporation while pursuing her MS in Management.

Minimum Technology Requirements (QM Standard 1.5)
- Includes minimum hardware and software requirements and expectations for learners to be successful in their studies.
Computer Skills and Digital Information Literacy Skills (QM Standard 1.6)
- Includes the minimum necessary skills and abilities expected of students in order to be success in their coursework.
Student Services and Resources (QM Standard 7.4)
- Provides links to university support services including advising, registrations, financial aid, office of veteran services, student counseling services, career services, and student organizations.
Transfer Students
We also want to be transfer friendly. Our biggest recruitment of students come from the Denton/Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. That region includes a number of community college networks that we work with to help students continue their education.

As a community college student, click on your current program (AA, AAS, or AS) and the desired degree in which you are interested (BAAS, BBA, or BS). This will bring up a list of pathways between all area community colleges and Tarleton State University College of Business’ programs. Unfortunately, not all community college have input all of their data for all programs. This does not mean that you cannot complete your bachelor’s here. It simply will require determining your pathway by hand. Please consult an academic adviser at your institution to complete this process.

As previously mentioned, college is expensive. But you have lots of options when it comes to finding ways to help pay for it. Two very useful sources of funding are scholarships/grants and financial aid. We’d encourage your to complete your FAFSA/TASFA, scholarship applications, and file for financial aid to determine more precisely how we can help support your pursuit of your education.
