UPDATE: 1:53 p.m. on 7/19/24 – Operations have been fully restored. ITS is now working with individual departments for isolated issues. Also note, due to the severity of this issue around the world, be on alert for phishing attempts by adversaries to obtain personal information.
UPDATE: 9:42 a.m. on 7/19/24 – All servers, systems and services appear to have been restored. Tarleton State ITS is continuing to monitor the situation for all campuses.
Global cybersecurity partners at CloudStrike are experiencing a global outage linked to an overnight software update that is affecting all customers including Tarleton State University. Computers at Tarleton State are affected and may not be able to access the internet.
CloudStrike is working diligently to implement a resolution and will provide an update as soon as available. Some websites may be intermittently accessible.
