Risk, Fraud and Misconduct
It is everyone’s job to report fraud, waste and abuse. It is our job to listen.
Each member of the Tarleton community has responsibility for workplace integrity and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This includes understanding the right thing to do, making inquiries if you are uncertain, and reporting risk and compliance concerns that come to your attention.
Examples of situations that should be reported:
- Theft or fraud
- Harassment or discrimination
- Misuse of resources
- Safety concerns and violations
- Threats of violence
- Conflicts of interest
- Misuse of information
How to Report
Options for seeking guidance and/or reporting concerns:
- Contact your department head through the appropriate channels.
- Contact a subject matter expert with specialized expertise.
- Contact University Compliance to obtain information about the correct action associated with an ethics or compliance question or to report a concern. Concerns can be submitted anonymously. Submit your questions or concerns via Risk and Compliance Help and Reporting, or call the University Compliance Office at 254-968-9415.
- Submit ethics and compliance concerns and report suspected fraud, waste, and abuse via the A&M System Risk, Fraud & Misconduct Hotline website Ethics Point or by calling 888-501-3850.
