College of Science and Mathematics Summer Research Showcase – August 18th, 2023
The annual College of Science and Mathematics Summer Research Showcase in August of each year highlights the hard work of our faculty and students conducted primarily during the summer term. It provides an opportunity for College and University colleagues to celebrate our research efforts as well as providing students an opportunity to build and hone their communication skills.
The Showcase has two sessions – a 1-hour oral presentation session for up to 6 oral presentations and a poster session for as many people as are interested. In addition, there will be a welcome back reception held after the showcase to kick-off the start of the 2023-2024 academic year. The festivities will be held in the 1st floor of the Science Building. The schedule is shown below:
2:00-3:00 PM – SCIEN 105 – Oral presentations (five 12-minute presentations: 10-minute presentation + 2 minutes for questions)
3:00-4:30 PM – Johanson Science Building 1st floor north hallway – Poster presentations
4:00-5:30 PM – Johanson Science Building Foyer – Welcome back reception
