The Department of Counseling holds national accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). This accreditation assures that our students receive rigorous training to become qualified and ethical mental health practitioners.
A counseling degree at Tarleton includes coursework that satisfies the academic course requirements for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
