Splashville

Splashville features a splash-pad and zero entry area that has fun and exciting water features such as water cannons, tipping buckets, mushroom waterfalls, and a three-foot water slide. The larger portion of the park offers a four-foot deep pool and features a 16-foot slide, 8-foot slide, and a lily pad walk way to test your balance and agilities. 

If you’re looking to kick back and relax, a trip down our 275-foot lazy river will do the trick! Come see us to enjoy your time in the sun and make memories that last a lifetime with your friends, family, and loved ones! 

Stephenville Historical Museum House

Nestled on 3 acres adjacent to the Bosque River, the Stephenville Historical House Museum consists of 12 nineteenth century structures furnished with period furniture and artifacts. Buildings include several log cabins chinked with mud just like the ol’ days, a ranch house owned by John Tarleton (founder of Tarleton State University), a rock cottage, a two-story Victorian house, a chapel, and a school house. There’s even a two-hole outhouse!

Stephenville City Park

City Park is made up of 112 acres just off the downtown square on Graham Street, placed along the Bosque River. The park is available for overnight camping with 8 permanent campsites with both water and electricity options, along with up to 50 temporary sites as needed.

Other amenities of the City Park include two group pavilions (Large and Small – to reserve, please visit our Facility Reservations page), picnic areas with grills, two playgrounds, swimming pool and splash-pad (Splashville), four lighted tennis courts, volleyball courts, 1.3 mile walking trail, outdoor stage, two basketball courts, four baseball fields, three softball fields, four youth fields, one soccer field, and an 18-hole disc golf course. We promise there is something for everyone! 

Youth Sports

Stephenville Youth Sports include Flag Football, Volleyball, Cheer, Non-Competitive Swim, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Archery, Track and Field, and Competitive Swim.

Waco Mammoth National Museum
