Bloodstock Club
The Tarleton Bloodstock Club is an organization that focuses on the reproduction, genetics, marketing, and performance of horses, specifically within the Quarter Horse industry. The club visits many industry-related businesses to gain more hands-on experience.

Horse Judging Team
One of the newer extracurricular programs at the Equine Center, Horse Judging Team participants compete in many competition circuits including the AQHA, APHA, NRHA, and NCHA-affiliated judging events.

Stockhorse Team
The Tarleton Stock Horse Team provides an organization for horse-oriented students to improve their horsemanship skills, training abilities, and showmanship through educational clinics, practice sessions, and participation in the Stock Horse of Texas and Intercollegiate Stock Horse competitions.

Texan Therapeutic Riding
Texan Therapeutic Riding is an equine-assisted services program at Tarleton State University that uses horseback riding for its many therapeutic benefits. We are a Premier Accredited Center through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH International). Our program provides participants with positive physical, mental, social, and emotional benefits in a fun and engaging environment. Therapeutic riding has been shown to improve self-confidence, self-awareness, and discipline. Equine-assisted services can be beneficial for many types of disabilities and special needs, including but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, head injuries, intellectual or developmental disability, stroke, emotional disturbances, developmental delays, down syndrome, and spina bifida.

Tarleton Equestrian Team
The Tarleton Equestrian Association is open to all Tarleton students of all riding levels interested in competing in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The IHSA includes Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Horsemanship,
and Reining.
