  • Determine how to enroll the executive management in the journey of change associated with the Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC or DFSS) initiative
  • Determine how to sustain process breakthrough improvements in the control phase of the Lean Six Sigma initiative during the process owner handover

After completing this program, learners will have the option to take the leading national/industry-recognized certification exam(s) essential to entry-level employment in this fast-growing field.

 6σ American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)

IMPORTANT: For candidates who complete this program and aim to achieve certification in this field, additional information is required to demonstrate the requisite qualifications. Once practitioners successfully complete the exam assessment, they are then asked to provide information and updates for a new or ongoing project they are immersed in. The information and updates will be evaluated by a panel of experts who may ask questions or request additional information to ensure that participants are well-versed and able to successfully complete a Six Sigma project, before certification can be conferred.

Optional Volunteer Externship Opportunity

Learners who complete this program are eligible to participate in an optional volunteer externship opportunity with a local company/agency/organization whose work aligns with this area of study in order to gain valuable hands-on experience.  As learners progress through their eLearning program, an Externship Coordinator will reach out to coordinate placement.
