Shadow a Current Honors Student

The “Shadow a Current Honors Student” program is an initiative designed to provide prospective students with an opportunity to experience the daily life and academic rigors of an Honors student at Tarleton State University. The program allows aspiring students to shadow a current Honors student for a day, giving them a firsthand glimpse into the unique opportunities associated with being part of the Honors College.

Pairing will be made based on availability and major interest compatibility (when possible).

Tentative schedule:

8:30am-
• Prospective student and guide meet in Honors Hall office
9:00am-
• Prospective student and guide start their day

9:00am- 2:00pm-
• Prospective student and guide attend at least one Honors and one non-Honors course
• Lunch in the D-Hall (please bring $9.00)
• Causal free time to get to know your guide, ask questions, and see campus

2:00pm-
• Guide returns Prospective student to the Honors College office where they will meet with an Honors College staff member to discuss their options and any additional questions they may have.
