Starting in Fall 2024, Tarleton State University will now offer first- and second-year courses at the Tarleton Fort Worth campus along Chisholm Trail Parkway. The new course offerings will be available for 24 undergraduate programs (listed below), with more expected in 2025. These programs will join the established upper-level and graduate degree opportunities. With this announcement, future first-year students can now attend Tarleton State in Stephenville or Fort Worth.

What is the Financial Aid Consortium?
Tarleton State University participates in the Financial Aid Consortium program, which coordinates credit hours between partner institutions to financially assist students. Undergraduate students interested must be enrolled at Tarleton State University with a minimum of 3 hours for the fall, spring, or summer semester. Students must fill out a consortium agreement each semester they participate in the program and return the completed consortium agreement to the Tarleton’s Office of the Registrar prior to the 12th class day for processing. More information, as well as the Financial Aid Consortium form, can be found on the Tarleton Website.
Notification of participation in the financial aid consortium will be emailed to a student’s go.tarleton.edu email address. Students should always check their go.tarleton.edu account or forward it to their personal email.
- Courses taken at the community college (host institution) are verified by Tarleton for transferability and use towards a degree plan.
- Students are encouraged to verify the transferability of their courses to Tarleton prior to submitting the consortium agreement. TCCNS Developmental and audited courses are not eligible for the financial aid consortium.
- Courses approved for the consortium agreement will be added to the students’ Tarleton registration, increasing the number of hours they are registered for.
- Tuition and fees will be charged separately for the courses taken at the respective community college (host institution).
- Students are responsible for ensuring tuition payments are paid at the respective community college.
- Make satisfactory academic progress as specified by the Tarleton State University Satisfactory Academic Progress policy.
How do I activate my Tarleton Texan Card?

Tarleton’s new tool, the Student Support app by TELUS Health, is now available to all Tarleton State University students. The Student Support App connects students with free, confidential mental health and wellbeing support conveniently available 24/7 via the Student Support app, telephone, and web. TELUS Health content and support are available 24/7 in Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, French, and English.
Purple Pantry
The Purple Pantry @ Fort Worth is available during the building’s operational hours and is accessible by a card swipe. To gain access, complete the form and put in your Tarleton student UID number. Access requests are processed Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Purple Pantry @ Fort Worth, in partnership with the Tarrant Area Food Bank, stocks frozen, refrigerated, shelf-stable items, hygiene and personal care products, as well as academic supplies and child-friendly items like diapers, crayons, games, and baby/toddler specific foods.

Yes. Tarleton students can use the TCC login and password to connect to the TCC secure Wi-Fi. As a secondary option, students can connect to the eduroam Wi-Fi network using their Tarleton credentials.
