Tuesday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sunday: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Admission

Adults (12 years and older): $5.00

Seniors and Military: $4.00

Children (5-12 years old): $2.50

Free Admission for Children 5 years & under and Tarleton State University Students, Staff, and Faculty.

Directions and Parking

Parking: The W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center has a parking lot on the museum grounds inside our gates. Bus and RV parking is available and we are disabled accessible.

From Dallas/Fort Worth: We are about an hour west of Fort Worth. Exit 367 (Thurber/Mingus) on Interstate 20. Turn left under the underpass and take another left onto the service road. The center will be on your right.

From Abilene: We are about an hour east of Abilene. Exit 367 (Thurber/Mingus) on Interstate 20. Continue on the service road. The center will be on your right.

From Stephenville: We are about half an hour north. Travel on 108 North. Turn left at the first stop sign and travel 3 miles on Interstate 20 service road. The center will be on your left.

Facility Rentals

Planning a company retreat, family reunion, workshop or party? Please consider the W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center Facility for your upcoming event!

We have the following spaces available:

  • Temporary Exhibits Gallery
  • Main Exhibit Gallery
  • Outside areas including the parking lot
