The summer commencement ceremony is scheduled for Friday, July 31 at 10:00 AM. All colleges will participate in the ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be issued tickets for commencement?

Yes. Each graduate will receive twelve tickets.

Are commencement tickets available for purchase?

No. Commencement tickets are not available for purchase through any vendor or third-party seller. All tickets are distributed directly to graduating students by the university. Guests should receive tickets only from their graduate.

Will there be overflow seating for guests without tickets?

Yes. Overflow seating with a livestream of each ceremony will be available at select locations on the Stephenville campus. These spaces are open to non-ticketed guests on a first-come, first-served basis.

Is a livestream available?

Yes. Each ceremony will be livestreamed for anyone who wishes to watch online or from an overflow location on campus.

Are tickets required for children under 2?

No. Children under 2 years old do not require a ticket if they will be seated in an adult’s lap.

What time do doors open for commencement ceremonies?

All venue doors will open 90 minutes prior to the start of each ceremony (EECU Center and overflow locations).

Will there be seating options for guests with disabilities?

Yes. Accessible seating for disabled guests will be thoughtfully arranged throughout the EECU Center. Limited seating is available for guests requiring special accommodations, so graduates are encouraged to reach out to the Office of Student Accessibility Services with questions about accessible seating for their guest(s). What is the clear bag policy for commencement?

Will concessions be open during commencement?

Yes. Concessions will be available for guests at the EECU Center during all commencement ceremonies.
