History, Geography and GIS

The mission of the department through the coordination of these disciplines is to provide quality degree programs that will prepare students for a wide range of career options. The department also has a significant role in the College of Liberal and Fine Arts and in accomplishing the mission of the university by guiding all students to become knowledgeable and engaged citizens in their communities through the general education core curriculum. Further, through the core and advanced courses, the department offers support to many other university degree programs. This department includes the disciplines of:

  • Geography and GIS

Programs and Opportunities
