Welcome, Incoming Honors Students!
Owl Camp
Honors College Owl Camps are a time for our Fall 2024 incoming freshmen to participate in activities like:
- Get to know your Honors College Mentor
- Check out Honors Hall (and your room, if possible)
- Play fun games
- Explore campus
- Connect with your fellow incoming Honors students
Location: Honors Courtyard & Lobby
Date(s): June 6th and July 15th
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
If you are a student who has been accepted into the Honors College for the Fall 2024 semester please fill out this form Honors Owl Camp RSVP form to let us know if you can come or not, as well as provide “get to know me” information to allow us to pair you with the BEST Honors Mentor possible. If the dates have passed for Owl Camp, please fill out the form, as we will still pair you with a mentor!
Parking permits will be provided to you to place on your dash for camp to avoid receiving a parking ticket. If you have questions regarding Owl Camp, please contact our office: [email protected] or 254-968-1926
Move-In Day
Move-In Day at the Honors Hall is Thursday, August 15, 2024! Since the Honors Hall move-in is conducted by floor, verify that you are arriving at the right time for your room assignment. For any move-in questions, be sure to check out the Move-In Guide for all the information you need to know about Move-In day, including how you can set up your Internet/Wi-Fi for your room before you arrive.
Move-In 2023 Schedule:

| Honors Hall 3rd Floor | 11:00 am – 1:00 pm |
| Honors Hall 3rd | 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm |

T-Week
Transition week (T-Week) continues through the first day of classes! T-Week is intended to help incoming freshmen with their transition into the Tarleton community and is mandatory for all first-year students. During this time, students will be introduced to Tarleton traditions, make connections with classmates, meet their professors, learn more about their major, and be inducted into the Tarleton Family.
