Benefits Open Enrollment
July 10 – July 31
The one time employees and retirees may make changes to their coverage, enroll in new benefit options or renew flexible spending accounts without having to demonstrate a qualifying life event.
Changes made during Open Enrollment are effective September 1
OPEN ENROLLMENT CLOSES JULY 31ST – DON’T DELAY
Outside of July 10-31, changes can only be made to health, dental, vision or spending accounts during the plan year within 30 days of a Qualifying Life Event such as marriage, birth or adoption, etc. If changes are not made within 30 days of the Life Event, coverage to these plans cannot be made until the next Open Enrollment period, with an effective date of September 1.

Important Information for FY 25 and Reminders
- Review your current benefits anytime in Workday prior to making your elections for the new plan year.
- Check WebMD One to make sure you are on your way to completing your Two-Step Wellness Program and your incentive status is up to date.
- Open Enrollment is also a good time to review your beneficiaries.
- Not making changes?
- Your current benefits will continue; however, you MUST actively re-enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts;
- Health Care and Dependent Day Care flexible spending account elections do NOT roll into the new plan year.
- Retiree mailed documents must be postmarked by July 31. (online enrollment preferred)
- Flexible Spending Accounts (re-enrollment required)
- Healthcare flexible spending account annual election amount maximum will increase to $3,200.
- Dependent care flexible spending account annual election will remain unchanged, $5,000 per household or $2,500 if married filing separately.
