TrainTraq (Required Training for All Tarleton Employees)
TrainTraq is Texas A&M System’s learning management system. In accordance with Texas A&M System Regulation 33.05.02, all Tarleton State University employees are required to take the courses listed. Employees may also be required by their department heads and supervisors to complete training based on their job duties.
The following courses are required to be completed 30 days after the date of hire:
- ORIENTATION TO THE A&M SYSTEM (ONE TIME REQUIREMENT)
- CREATING A DISCRIMINATION FREE WORKPLACE/EEO (EVERY 2 YEARS)
- ETHICS (EVERY 2 YEARS)
- REPORTING FRAUD, WASTE AND ABUSE (EVERY 4 YEARS)
- INFORMATION SECURITY AWARENESS (EVERY YEAR)
- TITLE IX (EVERY YEAR)
- CLERY ACT (EVERY YEAR)
- FERPA (EVERY YEAR)
- SHOTS FIRES/FLASH POINT (EVERY 2 YEARS)
- EXPORT CONTROLS & EMBARGO TRAINING (EVERY 2 YEARS)
What to do when you are not teaching when a course comes due
If a course comes due during a period you are not teaching for the university, but plan on teaching the following semester, reach out to your supervisor and ask for an extension and give a specific date of return.

- TrainTraq is accessible through Single Sign On
- Requires Two-Factor Authentication
Parking
Only Stephenville and Fort Worth require parking permits.
- Permits are $105 for a vehicle or $40 for a Motorcycle annually.
- Permits are valid Sept 1st through Aug. 31st and are purchased upon employment. Permits are renewed in July.
- Purchase permits through the Tarleton Marketplace
