Dr. Stan Korotchenko is an assistant professor of criminal justice at Tarleton State University. He has a Ph.D. in Public Affairs with the specialization in criminal justice from University of Central Florida and a law degree from Florida State University. Dr. Korotchenko’s research focuses on the effectiveness of automated police data sharing and situational crime prevention. Beyond academia, he is also an attorney, dedicating his expertise to assist the most underrepresented communities as they maneuver through the complexities of the US legal system.
