Michael Heatley is a bassist, composer, and educator in the DFW area. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he studied under Brian Mulholland, Dr. Jack Unzicker, Dan Cavanaugh, and Sergio Pamies. He performs throughout the DFW area with several different ensembles, and is currently an Adjunct Instructor of Jazz Bass at Tarleton State University.
