Tarleton Jazz Festival

 The 2025 Tarleton Jazz Festival will take place on April 25-26, 2025. This year the festival will have performance spots available for both Friday and Saturday during the day.

About the Tarleton Jazz Festival

The Tarleton Jazz Festival invites high school and middle school ensembles from across the state of Texas in a celebration of jazz. Each ensemble performs for nationally-recognized jazz educators and get feedback in the form of written comments, audio comments while performing, and a clinic. The ensembles are then ranked by class, with one winner per class.

The students participating in the festival get free admission that includes watching other ensembles perform, attending clinics, and a seat at the awards concert. The awards concert features the Tarleton Jazz Ensemble with a featured guest artist.
