Computers & Laptops
The Tarleton Libraries provide over 160 computers and laptops for the Tarleton community to use. These include desktops, laptops and collaboration tables. Some spaces with computers are reservable online. For assistance with library computers, please contact Library Technology Services at [email protected] or 254-968-1955.

Desktop Computers
- Tarleton community members and guests can use over 120 desktop computers, located on all three levels of the Dick Smith Library and at the Rickett Library in Fort Worth.
Laptop Computers
- The Dick Smith Library has 30 laptops and 6 Macs available for checkout via two laptop vending machines on the main and upper levels of the library.
- Laptops check out for 4 hours and must be returned to a slot appropriate for their brand.

Library Training Center
- To reserve, call 254-968-9450 or online at reserve a room.
- Hands-on computer access.
- Seats up to 36.
- Equipped with presenter computer station, SmartBoard, projector, speakers, phone and 36 desktop computers, including one ADA station.
Collaboration Tables & Rooms
- Located on the main and lower levels of the Dick Smith Library.
- First come, first served.
- Tables are equipped with an on-board computer and cables for connecting your device to the display.
- Cable adaptors/dongles are available for checkout from the Circulation Desk.
