Programs Offered

“I completed Managing Information Systems taught by Dr. Dennis Jones. This course was a robust and comprehensive overview of MIS and through the group consulting project, reflective exercises, and his sense of humor I felt the course was challenging, rewarding, and has provided a solid foundation for success in other courses. Dr. Jones was accessible, responsive to questions and clearly an expert in his field (Kieth LaChance, 2021)”.

Degrees Explained

Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degrees are more balanced programs for students interested in managerial positions.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees may be best for those interested in focusing on technology.

Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (B.A.A.S.) degrees may best suit non-traditional students who have community college and professional experience/training/certification.

The Master of Science (M.S.) degree is for graduate students who wish to advance their careers.

Additionally, the BBA in Management Information Systems, the BS in Computer Information Systems, and the BAAS in Information Technology are all available as accelerated programs enabling students to kickstart their MS in Information Systems program, saving time and money by taking 6 hours of graduate classes as undergraduate electives. See your advisor for more details.

The availability of a online program with the use of prior workforce experience was an ideal situation for me and my schedule. I would recommend this school to any working professional.”

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Designated Programs

International students may be interested in our B.A.A.S.-Information Technology, B.B.A.-Management Information Systems- or B.S.-Computer Information Science programs since they are all designated as STEM programs by the Department of Homeland Security.

This allows those with F-1 visas to remain in the United States for an additional 24 months after graduation under the optional practical training STEM extension. Students may then undertake practical training for a total of 36 months.
