Tarleton-Waco Offering Free Tax Return Preparation

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Free income tax preparation and e-filing will be available three Saturdays in February at Tarleton State University’s Waco outreach center on the McLennan Community College campus. Taxpayers with income up to $55,000 are eligible.

No appointments are required. Assistance is offered first come, first served. Participants should bring their ID, Social Security card, W-2 and other relevant documentation.

Volunteer tax assistance is provided by Tarleton-Waco in association with the Waco ISD and La Vega High School. Sessions are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 13, 20 and 27 in Room 212 of the Michaelis Academic Center.
