STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University will implement special operating hours during spring break week, March 13-17. In addition, the university will close all offices on Friday, March 17.
The Dick Smith Library on the Stephenville campus will be closed March 11-12 and 17-19, but will be open to patrons from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 13-16.
Tarleton’s Recreational Sports Center will have modified operating hours during spring break, including: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 11; 1 to 6 p.m., March 12; 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., March 13-16; closed March 17; and open from 4 to 11 p.m. on March 19. Regular spring semester hours resume Monday, March 20. In addition, the Rec Center’s rock climbing wall and Outdoor Pursuits center will be closed through spring break week.
The Barry B. Thompson Student Center (TSC) will close the weekend of March 11-12, and be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., March 13-16. The student center will again close March 17 and 18, but re-opens from 4 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, March 19.
The campus bookstore, inside the TSC, will maintain hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 13-16, but close on Friday, March 17. Tarleton Station, the on-campus post office, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 13-16, and closed March 17-19.
The Tarleton Dining Hall closes at 2 p.m. March 10, and re-opens for brunch service at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 19. All retail dining locations will be closed during the spring break and resume normal hours on March 20.
Tarleton’s Welcome Center will offer campus tours Monday through Thursday, March 13-16, at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., but will be closed along with all university offices on Friday, March 17.
Tarleton’s Police and Parking administrative offices will maintain normal operating hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 13-16, and be closed on Friday, March 17. University police will continue regular patrol shifts throughout the three-day weekend. In the event of a campus emergency during the holiday weekend, call 254-968-9265 or 9-1-1.
