STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Become tech savvy this summer with a two-session class at Tarleton State University designed to help business professionals improve efficiency and productivity using Google Drive.
Made possible through the university’s Center for Academic Outreach and Engagement, the Tech Tips course is set from 5 to 9 p.m. June 13 and 1 to 5 p.m. June 20 in Room 206 of the College of Business Administration on the Stephenville campus. Cost is $50, and registration is due by June 1.
Today, more than 50 percent of jobs require some technical skill, and the Tech Tips course covers those associated with using keyboard shortcuts and importing and exporting data with Google Drive.
Participants learn Drive file organization and management, and the Document, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Form, and Drawing applications while considering a variety of business uses. Tips, tricks and additional functionality through Chrome apps and extensions are explored.
Participants will create relevant documents, sheets, slides, forms and drawings in class.
